As a data scientist at DXC, Esteban focused on the building of interactive dashboards. He mined CSV files and used data analysis to optimize and improve the company's product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies. Other responsibilities included the creation of the SQL database which he connected to Qlicksense, analyzing spring data from different repositories to present to the user, creating queries and store procedures, compiling SSIS packages, performing statistical analysis using R, and developing analytical models to define the forecast by annual, monthly, or KIP structure. In addition to his own work as a data scientist, Esteban trained remote analytic teams that continue to provide support and administration for the team.

Lonza Group (October 2017 - March 2018)

Esteban created Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on an automated dashboard and worked on a machine learning system during his time at Lonza Group. He created automation of KPI's for the company's business teams, mining the database and enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems. He engineered machine learning models with Python and created trees (Python Library), forest, K neighbors, and algorithms for vectorial machine and machine learning. This included the selection of features, the creation of internal procedures for testing the dashboards, and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques. Esteban restored and evaluated statistical models and set them for distribution system operators (DSO), Jambu Testing, Error Testing, and CRISP-DM Methodology.

Esteban's responsibilities with Syniverse Technology included the creation of dashboards for both sales and roaming teams.
