Felipe has also consulted for companies who do not have mobile engineering expertise helping them to recruit developers/designers and managing the development process.

Felipe is actively engaged in social projects such as Wheel The World, a project to which seeks promotion of tourism for people with mobility disabilities (http://gowheeltheworld.com). He is also a finalist in a contest of socially focused projects organized by the Chilean government called Desafío Clave (http://fiis.org/). His project is PortalFit which promotes access to sports and healthy lifestyle for economically disadvantaged communities.

Android/Windows Offshore Team Lead

Felipe leads the design, development and maintenance of Android and desktop (Windows) applications in an onshore/offshore model. Felipe works closely with Business Analysts. Technical Leads, Director Engineering and UI/UX teams on product definition, identifying priorities and development plan. Felipe is responsible to clearly communicate product direction and plans to offshore development teams and to ensure that these teams are not blocked on delivering desired features.

Felipe is also responsible for ensuring all teams follow company wide coding standards for code extensibility and branching strategy during software development. He helps facilitate design and code reviews and adherence to QA policies to ensure a high quality product.

As a team lead, Felipe evaluates team performance and develops resources by conducting quarterly performance reviews and annual reviews.

As a freelance mobile developer, Felipe worked on a variety of mobile projects for companies such as Skout/MeetMe, MobileAware and Moblox.io where he lead Android teams to deliver on a wide variety of projects including

Video Game Developer
Behavior Interactive  (April 2013 - August 2014)
Felipe was part of the team that designed and developed the Pacific Rim video game. The game was written in Unity 3D. This is available on the Google PlayStore. He also developed other video games for Behavior Interactive.
